    Described as a sonic assault to both mind and senses, Halifax’s Chaos Theory have quickly captured a strong and loyal fan base. With an in your face approach to modern heavy melodic rock, they have molded a unique and catchy sound that appeal to both metal and non-metal fans alike.

    Chaos Theory is fronted by Rock Johnson who delivers a powerful and emotional punch to Chaos Theory’s lyrics. Rhythm guitarist and backup vocalist Lex Coulstring provides hook-filled riffs, uncompromising drive and ominous screams, while lead guitarist Scott McKenzie delivers soulful, melodic and energetic leads. The band’s backbone is driven by the thundering bass work of Tim Garagan and Craig Brown’s versatile, and progressive drumming.

    The band draws a compelling combination of influences from heavier groups such as Avenged Sevenfold, Godsmack and Rammstein to grunge and modern rock bands like Filter, Alice In Chains and Three Days Grace, with a mix of classic rock legends including Led Zeppelin, Van Halen and Pink Floyd.

    Chaos Theory’s music is packed wall to wall with diversity and vitality. It’s unique and catchy sound will appeal to both metal and non-metal fans alike.
